All on-site classes (Standard Arabic and dialects) are not available until further notice. Thanks for your understanding.
Marḥaba مَرØَباَ !
The Ibn Rushd-Goethe Mosque offers weekly Arabic language courses in levels A1-A2 as well as literacy courses.
Dialect courses are offered as needed.
High Arabic is taught in the regular courses, but country-specific and dialectical peculiarities are taken into account.
The religious affiliation or the worldview of the participants play no role at all. The course content is largely imparted without religious reference. The focus is solely on language and people.
Course duration:
The courses are preliminary, a course section usually lasts 1 month.

Yoga in the Mosque

Far from the idea of ​​competition and performance, we meet with Lea every two weeks to listen to our bodies and give ourselves what we often don’t get during the week: rest, acceptance and introspection.
The 60 minute yoga class is suitable for everyone. Donations go directly to the mosque.
Lea completed her yoga teacher training in Kerala, South India in March 2017. There she was privileged to be taught by Indian teachers who devote their whole lives to yoga and its philosophy. Since then she has taught in various studios and facilities in Würzburg, Berlin and Cairo and has always worked to make yoga accessible to everyone – not only to preach unity but also to work for it.
Arabic course (Literacy):
The course starts on November 22, 2019 and takes place every Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
An A1 follow-up course is planned for January 2020 if enough participants are interested.

The course starts on October 11, 2019 and takes place every Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
