Arabic Class:

Marḥaba مرحبا!

The Ibn Rushd-Goethe Mosque offers weekly Arabic language courses at A1-A2 levels. Literacy courses are also included in the scope of services as a basic preparation.

In the current two courses is taught high Arabic, but country-specific and dialectical peculiarities are taken into account.

The two courses are on Fridays:
from 15:00 to 17:00 and
from 17:00 to 19:10.

The religious affiliation or the world view of the participants do not matter at all. The course contents are largely taught without religious affiliation. Only the language and the human being are the focus.

Duration:
A course takes about 3 months, alpha courses only 1-1.5 month (s)

Course fee:
€ 20 / month (4 course days)

Minimum / maximum number of participants per group:

Yoga in the mosque

Far away from competitive thoughts and performance, we meet with Lea every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month to listen to our bodies and to give ourselves what we often do not come to during the week: peace, acceptance and introspection.

The 60 minute yoga class is suitable for everyone. Donations go directly to the mosque.

Lea has completed her yoga teacher training in March 2017 in Kerala, South India. There she was privileged to be taught by Indian teachers who devote their entire lives to yoga and its philosophy. Since then she has taught in various studios and facilities in Würzburg, Berlin and Cairo and has always been committed to making yoga accessible to everyone – not just to preach for unity, but to work for it as well.
